Requirements of the Reception role

• Well presentable for front of house
• Warm and welcoming disposition when dealing with guests or members of the spa.
• Great interpersonal skills
• Experience using hotel booking systems.
• Experience of doing social media posts for businesses.
• Hands on approach with a can-do attitude
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Full-time role – 40/48hrs per week (this can be negotiated if you’d like to apply on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities of the Reception Role

• First impressions is everything – Being presentable and greeting every guest at the hotel in a very warm and welcoming manner consistently.
• Ensuring the reception desk is always clean and all paperwork filed away correctly.
• Answering telephone for hotel enquiries.
• Managing the booking system.
• Social media posts for the business.
• Help with events & weddings.
• Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
