Overview

We are looking for a Part-Time Cleaner to join our team here at Craggy Guildford.

Role: As one of the two-person in-house cleaning team, you will work independently and with our Duty Manager team to ensure Health and Safety standards are met throughout the centre on a daily basis. You will need excellent attention to detail to maintain the highest level of hygiene in customer and staff areas. The climbing-specific elements of the centre, such as ropes and holds, are not included in this role.

Hours: Shifts are flexible and days will be split between the 2 Cleaners as best suits the individual’s availability. We require 4 hours of cleaning per day. At least 2 hours before/after opening and the remainder whilst we are open, to be worked as one block of 4 hours.

Our normal opening times are 10am-10pm on weekdays, 9am-7:30pm on Saturdays and 10am-6:30pm on Sundays. The successful applicant will need to be able to be flexible with their working hours to suit the needs of the business.

What You Will Do

Previous commercial cleaning experience and an understanding of COSHH regulations are preferable. Applicants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of your application. Some experience of an indoor climbing environment is preferred but not essential.

Overtime: Additional hours for deep cleans and holiday cover will be available at your normal hourly rate.

Holiday: You will be entitled to a paid holiday at the statutory entitlement.

Part-time hours: 12-16 per week
